Windows 95, 98, NT4 or 2000 is required. >>> Installation <<< It seems that you installed CD-MENU properly since you are reading this text. To use CD-MENU, no special installation procedure is required. The file you received or downloaded should have extracted into several new files. To use CD-MENU on your CDs, you only have to customize CDMENU.CFG and copy this file and CDMENU.EXE into the root-folder of your CD. The following files should have come with CD-MENU: 1. CDreadme.txt - Basic information. (This file) 2. CDhistory.txt - List of former releases of CD-MENU. 3. CDconfig.txt - Configuration Manual. 4. CDmenu.exe - CD-MENU executable. 5. CDmenu.cfg - Configuration example 6. autorun.inf - Autorun.inf example In case the self-extracting CD-MENU.EXE didn't contain everything mentioned above or you didn't receive CD-MENU as a self-extracting archive, please send me an e-mail (tobias@frodl.com) with the source you downloaded or received CD-MENU from. >> Configuration <<< please see config.txt >>> Costs <<< As I already mentioned above, this software is completely free. As long as you do not alter the files (except for CDMENU.CFG :-), you may use this program wherever you like and as much as you like. This also includes commercial products. If you decide to change any other files (like e.g. removing my name from CDMENU.EXE), the new files may only be used for private purposes. >>> Distribution <<< You may distribute this software freely as long as you use the original, self-extracting CD-MENU.EXE. Please do not repack the software or change any of the files. >>> Warranty <<< There is none. I did my best to avoid and remove any bugs as I wrote this piece of software.
